You can use academic words in multiple places.
implies
implication
A fact tells us that something might be true we say it 'implies something' or 'the implication is that.....'.

Eg: The government has made no move to fix the problem. This implies that it is not a priority for them.

Eg: The fact that governments are trying to combat climate change implies that the problem is serious.

Eg: Studies have shown that sugar is bad for the body. The implication is that science has misled the public over a number of year.

Patterns:
1. give a fact + implies
2. 'The fact that ....(SVO)  implies that (SVO).
3. give a fact + 'the implication is that (SVO).

You can use this word in any ielts topic, can usually, you can intentionally find a place to use it in any essay.

In the course, you will learn ALL of the words you need to know and where and how to use them.
